This course presents the principles and processes used to develop reliable software systems. Learners study software-development life cycles, requirements engineering, modeling, architecture and design, project planning, quality assurance, testing, version control and maintenance. Traditional and Agile approaches are compared, with practical activities that produce a small but coherent set of software-engineering documents for a proposed system.
